Sparta - On Saturday, April 22, the Annual Main Street 5k Festival will be contested in Sparta with the Fun Run starting at 9 a.m. at the Sparta Athletic Club. The featured 5K competition will be begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be rewards for all, regardless of an individual’s finish in the race. The run benefits the charity “Pass-It-Along.” The event includes racing, walking, face painting and vendors.
