Registration for learn-to-row program and regatta set for March 31

GREENWOOD LAKE — The East Arm Rowing Club of Greenwood Lake will register participants for its 14th annual Learn-to-Row program and novice sprints Rowing Regatta on Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Sign-ups will be at the club’s boathouse, located at 69 Sterling Road in Greenwood Lake.

The fee of $125 per rower covers one-to-two weekly training sessions for six weeks. Participants must be 18 years or older, be able to swim, be in good health and be able to lift 35 pounds.

On-the-water training begins Sunday, April 22, and there will be an indoor training session for all registered rowers at the West Point boathouse on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Participants must be available to race on Sunday, June 3, 9 a.m.
