    Sparta 1, Kimberly 0 Baylea Sperring went the distance, hurling 10 innings as Sparta edged Montclair Kimberly 1-0 in a non-league game. Sperring allowed two singles, walked one and fanned 11 in raising her record to 11-3. Tara Perez plated Melissa Sullivan with the game-winning tally in the bottom of the 10th inning. Sparta 9, Vernon 1 Tara Perez went 3 for 4, scoring twice and knocking in a run as the Spartans defeated Vernon 9-1.Virginia Buechel singled in two runs and scored twice. Wallkill 9, Vernon 7 Despite surrendering 14 hits, Stephanie Romano raised her record to 15-8 when Wallkill Valley defeated Vernon 9-7. Romano aided her own cause at the plate, going 2 for 4, legging out a triple and knocking in a pair of runs. Diane Washer went 3 for 5 with a double and two singles, knocking in a run and scoring twice. Tech 13, Boonton 12 Sussex Tech rallied with nine runs in the bottom of the sixth as the Lady Mustange edged Boonton 13-12. Christina Wilson ran her unblemished record to 3-0. Jodi Billitz and Rachel Halliwell fueled the sixth-inning outburst, with both delivering two-run doubles. Kelly Garrigan singled to lead off the seventh and came around to score the winning run on an error. Newton 8, Vernon 1 Newton defeated Vernon 8-1 as Booke Myers improved to 4-12, scattering six hits and fanningsix. Dana Bottoni drove in a pair of runs and scored three times, while Lesley Ferrari singled three times. Kittatinny 5, High Point 0 Sara Stadinski pitched a complete game in raising her record to 4-1 as Kittatinny blanked High Point 5-0. Stadinski allowed three singles, fanned 10 and walked only one, while Megan Preston knocked in a pair of runs.
