Sparta - The Sparta White Lites were crowned the winners of the North Jersey Youth Football League Pee Wee Division on Saturday, Nov. 19 in Newton after defeating the Vernon Vikings 36-7. The outcome was never in doubt with an early score on a Viking turnover. “They’re a talented and hard working group of young men and that allowed us to use a more complex system than you usually see at this age level,” said head coach Sean Brown. The Sparta White Lites were the only team in the division with a perfect record of 10-0. Sparta dominated their division all season with double-digit victories against every opponent with their sophisticated offense and defensive schemes.
