WEST MILFORD The West Milford Little League is partnering with the Newark Bears for a night of family fun and a fund raiser all in one. Next Friday, June 1, The Bears are taking on the St. Paul Saints. For each ticket purchased by a fan of the West Milford Little League, the Bears will donate $4 back to the league.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online at the West Milford Little League Web page, www.wmll.clubspaces.com. Click on the advertisement on the home page and be sure to enter the promo code WEST MILFORD in all caps.
Then head to Riverfront Stadium, located at 450 Broad Street in Newark, on Friday, June 1. Game time is 6:35 p.m.
The Newark Bears are part of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball and have a 95-year history. This current team was formed in 1998 by former Yankee Rick Cerone and has had its share of well-known and excellent ball players.
So gather the family for a night of great baseball for not much money, and help the West Milford Little League at the same time.
