Winning season on the ropes

West Milford’s football team fell to Passaic Valley 24-7 last week, dropping the Highlanders record to 2-4 on the season in a game played in Little Falls. Interceptions were key in the loss, as Passaic Valley made five picks on the day and the West Milford offense struggled to get anything going. Brian Mizerek put one in the end zone for the Highlanders in the first quarter, but that was all they could manage. West Milford must play perfect for the rest of the season in order to salvage a winning record for the fall campaign.
