Stockholm man killed in crash

    WEST MILFORD — A 63-year-old Stockholm man was killed Sunday, Sept. 10 when he crashed his motorcycle into a stopped car. William G. Mulvaney was riding his 2005 Harley Davidson south on Rt.23 when he struck a 1994 Toyota being driven by Russel S. Klner, 40, of Passaic. Kelner, who was uninjured in the accident, was apparently stopped for a traffic light when Mulvaney hit the car. Sgt. Thomas Celano was the first officer on the scene. Kathleen Graham, 42, of Basking Ridge, was a passenger on the motorcycle. Mulvaney was flown to Morristown Hospital by Atlantic Medical helicopter. Graham was flown to Morristown Hospital by Northstar helicopter. WMFAS #48, 46, ALS #901, and Fire Co. #2 were also dispatched. The crash required lane closures for several hours. Mulvaney died as a result of his injuries. The collision is currently under investigation by the West Milford Collision Unit and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
