This week we Take Five with Aidan Harrington, a 10-year-old who attends Upper Greenwood Lake Elementary School. Aidan loves soccer and especially being part of the Cub Scouts. He has dreams of flying helicopters someday, but in the meantime, he’s happy with his family...and raising guppies. Be sure to go to www.westmilfordmessenger.com to see our bonus five with Aidan. 1) How did you get involved with scouting? Both of my brothers and my dad were involved in Scouts so I wanted to join. 2) Name three things you would bring with you if you were on a deserted island. A tent, inflatable raft and a flare gun. 3) What are your long term goals? To go to the Coast Guard Academy and become a helicopter pilot. 4) What is your favorite movie and why? “Tron Legacy” because it’s cool how it all takes place because of computers. 5) Share something no one knows about you. I like raising guppies. Great kid, that Aidan! Keep focused and you’ll be flying those helicopters someday. Do you know someone who should be featured in Take Five? Drop us a note at njoffice@strausnews.com and tell us who and why. Give us contact information too so we can get in touch with them. We want to showcase all of the wonderful young adults in West Milford so don’t be shy. And we’ll see you next time for Take Five.
