To the Editor: On behalf of the OLQP Outdoor Market, I would like to thank to thank all the volunteers, generous donations, venders, and constant weekly supporters. We were able to raise almost $12,000 and clear $7,000 after expenses. Items that did not sell at our tag sale also went to worthy causes. The books are going to Kenya c/o Deacon Phillip, plush items went to the U.G.L. School clothing drive c/o The American Clothing Co. destined for Poland, our school received supplies such as computer equipment, books, tricky tray items, and Strengthen Our Sisters received two truckloads of supplies for the battered women's shelter store. It was an extremely hot summer but we still had the crowds in spite of the heat. I would also like to thank J & C Marketplaces for their professionalism in organizing our venders and making sure everything went smooth. The momentum has begun and the market will gain its popularity in years to come. Donna Chamberlain West Milford
