The strange tale of Bridget, Bailey and Bumbles

| 29 Sep 2011 | 11:39

Pets come into the West Milford Animal Shelter for many reasons but one local resident had to bring in Bridget, Bailey and Bumbles for a very unexpected and upsetting reason. Their former owner was a neighbor of hers and she was going away for a few weeks and asked the neighbor if she could she take care of her cats. The two weeks passed. Two weeks became four. Still no sign of the owner. Four weeks became three months. The kind neighbor never heard from the former owner again. She was not in a position to take more cats into her home on a permanent basis as she had dogs and cats of her own. She had no choice but to bring them into the shelter to find new homes. Bridget and Bailey are both females with exceptionally beautiful soft and fluffy long fur. Bridget is all white with yellow eyes and Bailey is a nicely marked tabby with yellow eyes. Bumbles is a male with beautiful off white colored fur. Bumbles is not in the photo as he is not yet available for adoption as he has to be neutered. All three cats are about a year old and all three are very gentle and loving - just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.
