WEST MILFORD —West Milford Township will hold its annual free rabies prevention clinic for cats only on Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m. -12 Noon at the town hall, main meeting room, 1480 Union Valley Road. The State of New Jersey now recommends that both cats and dogs be re-vaccinated every two years. This will ensure that there is no lapse in a pet’s protection against this deadly disease. All persons are asked to cooperate by being sure their cats are under control of an adult and in a carry case. There will be no make-up date. Cat owners are asked to review their records to make sure the rabies protection is valid until April 24, 2007. If the protection expires before April 24, 2007, you must attend this free clinic or visit your veterinarian to obtain the vaccination or a /2007 license cannot be issued for your pet.
