West Milford The West Milford Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Oak Ridge Road at the intersection of Davenport Road. The head-on collision involved two vehicles and multiple injuries. Officers Nevin, Rose and Singerline responded and found a white 1991 Mercedes with front end damage in the roadway, and a tan 2002 Dodge Neon that apparently left the roadway and came to rest against the deck of the residence of 376 Oak Ridge Road. James Kuhn (61) from Pompton Lakes, who was accompanied by his wife Donna (53), was operating the white Mercedes. Both occupants received multiple injuries and were taken to Chilton Hospital. The Dodge Neon, being operated by a 17-year-old female from Newfoundland, was traveling west on Oak Ridge Road when it turned into the path of the Mercedes while turning onto Davenport Road. A passenger in the Neon, 18-year-old Danielle Weinmann of West Milford, received injury to her left ankle. The West Milford First Aid Squad transported all injured parties to Chilton Hospital. A summons for failure to yield right of way at an intersection was issued to the driver of the Dodge Neon who was not injured. Also assisting in the incident were Jefferson Police and the Milton First Aid Squad, along with the Community Fire Company of West Milford.
