West Milford — Christine Leonescu is now platinum. The local Jazzercise instructor received the prestigious President’s Club Award-Platinum status, as one of the top money earners in the Jazzercise franchise operation. Jazzercise, Inc., is the world’s leading dance-fitness program. At platinum status, an owner must earn gross revenues of at least $75,000 in the past year. System wide, Jazzercise, Inc. earned $93 million last year. Leonescu, one of 15 Pacesetters in the New Jersey, Delaware, and Northeast Maryland district, has been an instructor in the West Milford area for seven years and 13 years total. “When I found Jazzercise, I discovered my ‘Fountain of Youth’,” said Leonescu. “Heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes run rampant in my family, but because of Jazzercise I do not have any of these illnesses. It is the total body workout that Jazzercise offers that will continue to keep my heart healthy as well as help me to maintain my weight, increase my metabolism, improve my memory, increase bone density, decrease body fat, improve my posture, balance and mobility, as well as help me to feel good. It is important to me to make the public aware of all these benefits. Having reached platinum status means that my dedication has reached the community. I couldn’t have done that without their support and the hard work and dedication of my wonderful team of associates.” The West Milford Jazzercise Fitness Center is located at 1884 Union Valley Road (behind Lakeland Auto Parts).
