WEST MILFORD — RE/MAX of New Jersey announced that RE/MAX Properties Unlimited was recognized for their fundraising efforts for the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) in 2006. This office, under the leadership of Broker/Manager, Linda McCullough, raised over $20,000 last year to directly benefit the network. It was the third highest office total out of over 207 RE/MAX offices in New Jersey. “We are honored to have received this award,” said McCullough. “Everyone in the office believes in CMN and is highly motivated to contribute to this organization. It’s nice to be able to give back and to see that we work as a team to achieve an even bigger goal than making a sale on a house; we’re able to help make miracles in the life of children.” RE/MAX Properties Unlimited held its fifth annual “Cocktail Party on the Lake,” an extremely popular event, not only within RE/MAX, but with the public as well. A fun-filled evening of dinner, dancing and silent and live auctions was able to generate a significant amount of money for the Children’s Miracle Network. To supplement this successful event, the RE/MAX Properties Unlimited office is a Miracle Office, meaning that 100 percent of their associates participate in the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program. Through this program, each Associate is able to pledge a certain dollar amount for each sales transaction completed. “We are extremely proud of the dedication that this office has showed to the Children’s Miracle Network,” said Jeff Snyder, regional co-owner for RE/MAX of New Jersey. “They have truly grasped the importance of giving back to CMN, and we are confident that they will continue to have great success in their fundraising efforts.” RE/MAX became the exclusive real estate sponsor of the network, a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for children’s hospitals in 1992, and has raised more than $56 million for the charity since. Last year, RE/MAX Associates from around the world made a record contribution to Children’s Miracle Network of almost $11 million dollars. RE/MAX of New Jersey Inc. contributed over $400,000.
