    Feb. 15 - Possession of CDS/Drug Paraphernalia - Union Valley Road Steven Mirkovic, Hewitt, Age 21 Keith Gulbin, Hewitt, Age 22 Motor Vehicle stop (tinted windows) resulted in the arrest of the accused for possession of marijuana and possession of Drug Paraphernalia (pipe). P.O. Gary Yarnall Feb. 15 - Criminal Mischief - Papscoe Road Unknown actor struck windshield of 1994 Mercury Wagon parked at above location causing chips and cracks. P.O. Robert Tomaschek Feb. 17 - Underage DWI/Poss of Drug Paraphernalia/Poss of CDS/Underage poss. Of alcoholic beverage - Warwick Turnpike While on patrol officer observed a 1996 Mitsubishi drive into the Utopia Deli parking lot at 0214 hours. Due to the late hour officer approached the vehicle. Officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from a 17-year-old juvenile. Officer approached the driver side door and observed a glass pipe in the center console. The odor of burnt marijuana was evident. Adam Hurtado, Hewitt, Age 19 was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of CDS. 2 Juveniles were charged with underage poss. Of alcoholic beverages. Juveniles were released to their parents. P.O. Tyrus Hicks Feb. 16 - Criminal Mischief - Pleasant Road Front passenger tire slashed to 1994 Chevrolet while parked in above driveway. P.O. Robert Tomaschek Feb. 16 - Theft - Macopin Road Unknown actor entered unlocked apartment at above location and removed prescription drugs. P.O. Jill Brickman Feb. 16 - Burglary/Theft - Route 23 While on patrol officer was dispatched to above location on call from victim of a missing purse. Victim stated her purse with her NY Drivers License, Social Security Card, and $350 Kodak Digital Camera, $750 in cash and keys to house in NY was stolen from vehicle, which was parked at an establishment on Route 23. No sign of forced entry P.O. Charles McQuaid Feb. 15 - Car Fire - Brady Street Upon officers arrival at above location vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and located next to the house. Homeowner and family were advised to exit the house. Headquarters advised as well. Owner of vehicle states he had vehicle plugged in for the night. Fire was first observed under the hood in engine compartment. No problems reported the night before or noticed. WM Fire Company #4 and #1 responded. Fire was put out. J&J Towing responded to remove vehicle. Boat and trailer parked next to pickup also damaged. Appears that block heater was cause of fire per fire department. P.O. William Pittelko Feb. 13 - Criminal Mischief - Old Route 23 Officer responded to Old Route 23 on a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival officer met the victim who stated someone punctured her tire while parked at above location. She found 2 puncture holes in right rear tire. P.O. Michael Malfetti P.O. Stephen Singerline Feb. 14 - Criminal Mischief - Marshall Hill Road While on patrol officer observed several acts of criminal mischief at the rear of the Abbey Cinema on Marshall Hill Road. P.O. Joseph Nevin Feb. 14 - Burglary/Theft - Dan Jennings Road Between 2/10/06 and 2/14/06 a 25-ton log splitter was missing from the rear of residence at above location. In addition, 2 Skil chainsaws, and 18-inch blade and a 24-inch blade and a leaf blower were also removed. Approx. value stolen $2300 P.O. Stephen Singerline Feb. 21 - Criminal Mischief - Navajo Trail Officer responded to the above location on a report of criminal mischief. Victim stated that he was awoken to the sound of breaking glass; he went downstairs to find the front window of residence next to the front steps broken. No foreign object could be found in the area. P.O. James McDaniel Feb. 20 - Criminal Mischief - Sugar Maple Road Officer responded to the above location on a garbage can on fire in the middle of roadway. Upon arrival officer spoke to the victim who told officer that this same incident happened in the past. P.O. Gregory Post, Jr. Feb. 18 - Criminal Mischief - Krattiger Court Victim came to headquarters to report that his 2005 Dodge was keyed while parked at above location. P.O. Laura Paul Feb. 18 - Criminal Mischief - Navajo Trail Victim reported finding a bottle rocket that had been set off in his mailbox at above location. P.O. Donald O’Keefe Feb. 17 - Criminal Mischief - Navajo Trail Fireworks put in mailbox and caused fire. P.O. William Pittelko Feb. 17 - Attempted Theft - Allison Ave. Unknown actor attempted to take a bicycle from the rear yard at above location. The actor (unknown) took the bike from in front of the garage and was taking the bike down the driveway when the homeowner confronted him. The actor then dropped the bike and fled on foot. Check of the area proved unsuccessful. P.O. Stephen Stratton Feb. 17 - Criminal Mischief - Walker Ave. Officer responded to the above location for a report that the mailbox was on fire. Fire Co#1 already on scene. Victim stated that he didn’t hear anything or see anyone. Mailbox, which was plastic, was totally destroyed. P.O. William Pittelko
