10/27/05 - Theft - West Milford High School Unknown actors took handbag from cafeteria. Bag was described as teal blue with mirrors, containing eyeglasses, cell phone, cash and makeup. P.O. Casey Casbarro 10/27/05 - Attempted Burglary - Rolling Ridge Road Keyhole in front door damaged to residence at above location. P.O. Casey Casbarro 10/27/05 - MVA/DWI/Failure to Maintain Lane - Lakeside Road Wayne R. Persico, Greenwood Lake, NY, Age 35 D1, who was traveling north on Lakeside Road, states that he was trying to light a cigarette but dropped his lighter. After picking up the lighter and taking his eyes off the road he saw a deer in the roadway. He swerved to the right to miss the deer. His front tire went off the road, pulling him into the guide rail. No reported injuries. Arrested for DWI. P.O. William Pittelko 10/27/05 - Theft - Newark Road Phone and sunglasses removed from vehicle parked at above location. P.O. Jill Brickman 10/28/05 - Burglary/Theft - Marshall Hill Road Vehicle entered while parked at business at above location. Stereo valued at $150 was removed from vehicle. Under investigation. P.O. William Greer, Jr. 10/28/05 - Attempted Burglary - First Ave Basement window at above location broken. It does not appear that entry was gained. Under investigation.P.O. William Greer, Jr. 10/29/05 - Burglary/Theft - Fairview Drive Unknown actors entered unlocked vehicle at above location and removed $80 cash from a wallet. P.O. Joseph Nevin 10/30/05 - DWI - Clinton Road Stephen Gingras, West Milford, Age 31 While on patrol officer observed above driving in an erratic manner. Vehicle was observed to swerve off the road. Driver was arrested for DWI. P.O. David VanDalinda 10/30/05 - Criminal Mischief - Bearfort Road Unknown actors damaged 2 vehicles parked at above location. Descriptions: 1985 Jeep, 2 door blue was struck with a rock damaging the roof. 2005 Ford F1150 had a rock thrown at the windshield damaging it. P.O. David VanDalinda 10/30/05 - Burglary/Theft - Ringwood Lane Unknown actors entered home at above location and removed jewelry totaling $3500. P.O. Gary Yarnall 10/31/05 - Attempted Burglary/Criminal Mischief - Fieldstone Road Front door handle at above location appears to have been dented in. P.O. William Greer, Jr. 10/30/05 - DWI - Route 23 N Adam Racansky, Stockholm, Age 24 While on patrol officer was traveling Route 23 north in the area of the High Crest Bridge. Officer observed above traveling in the right lane of travel, crossover the fog line and nearly strike the bridge abutment. Driver was subsequently arrested for DWI. P.O. Gary Yarnal
