WMFAS #49 responded and transported Gormley to Chilton Hospital P.O. Amy Hancock Dec. 1 - Possession of CDS - Union Valley Road Martin G. Oliver, West Milford, age 35 During patrol officer conducted a random license plate check on a red Pontiac. Information revealed that the registered owner (above) had an active warrant out for his arrest. A motor vehicle stop ensued and upon approaching the drivers side of the vehicle officer observed the odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Driver was arrested and issued summons for failure to exhibit a driver’s license, and possession of drug paraphernalia. P.O. Tyrus Hicks Nov. 30 - Theft - Rocky Point Road Mail was stolen from mailbox at above location. Case is under investigation. P.O. Sue Novakowski Dec. 3 - DWI - Crescent Drive Gregory Maguire, West Milford, age 49 Officers Greer and Rose observed above vehicle on Macopin Road. Driver was stopped and observed to be DWI. An open container of alcohol was observed in the vehicle. Driver was arrested for: DWI, no insurance card, driver’s license, or registration in possession, no seatbelts, open container in motor vehicle. Vehicle was impounded by West Milford Body and Frame. P.O. Lewis Rose Dec. 7 - Criminal Mischief/Burglary/Theft - Marshall Hill Road Unknown actor threw brick through side window of gas station at above location. $100 in cash missing.
