    10/16/05 - Attempted burglary - Warwick Turnpike Hinge screws were removed from fence gate at above location. P.O. William Greer, Jr. 10/16/05 - Criminal Mischief - Birch Ave. Mailbox knocked off post by unknown means. P.O. Donald O’Keefe 10/15/05 - Criminal Mischief - Bayonne Drive Several Mailboxes knocked over by breaking a 4x4 wooden post at ground level. P.O. Donald O’Keefe 10/15/05 - DWI/Refusal - Route 23/Cross Roads Teeshon Small, Newark, Age 32 While on patrol officer was alerted by headquarters of a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner. Officer observed vehicle. Vehicle was stopped on the side of roadway, apparently driver was sleeping. Officer observed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage from inside passenger compartment. Driver was arrested for DWI/Refusal to submit to breath test. P.O. Robert Tomaschek 10/13/05 - Vehicle Fire - Nosenzo Pond Road Upon officer’s arrival the front end of a 1995 Chevrolet (black) was engulfed in flames with a male (Donald Carr, West Milford, age 44) attempting to extinguish the fire with a garden hose. UGL Fire Dept. member, Ed Ollearo on scene, took over the hose. WMFD Co. #4 responded and extinguished the fire. J&J towing responded. P.O. Casey Casbarro 10/11/05 - DWI/MVA - Greenwood Lake Turnpike #1- Eileen Wells, Greenwood Lake, NY, Age 48 #2 - Ian Clark, Hewitt, Age 26 D1 states that while traveling north on Greenwood Lake Turnpike she stopped for traffic in front of 1603 Greenwood Lake Turnpike. While stopped V1 was rear-ended by V2. D2 stated that while traveling north on Greenwood Lake Turnpike V1 stopped in front of him and he was unable to stop and collided with V1. D1 complained of neck pain and released on scene. D2 issued summons for DWI and Careless Driving. Sgt. John Matarese 10/7/05 - DWI - Route 23 S Gonzalo Amaro, Detroit, MI, Age 30 While on patrol officer observed the above driver traveling south on Route 23. As officer came up behind vehicle it was going at a slow rate of speed in the fast lane and then accelerated and began weaving back and forth out of its lane of travel. Officer stopped vehicle and arrested driver for DWI. P.O. James McDaniel
