April 6 - Theft - Meadowview Lane Unknown actors stole six edging reflectors from above location. P.O. Dennis O’Donnell April 8 - DWI - Oak Ridge Road/Route 23 S Leonor L. Umana-Campos, West Milford, Age 57 Office was dispatched to check on a report of a possible intoxicated driver traveling northbound on Route 23. Officer was advised by headquarters that vehicle had turned onto Oak Ridge Road. Officer started to travel Oak Ridge road heading towards the Jefferson line. As officer proceeded the accused came towards officer in the opposite direction and forced patrol vehicle off the right side of road. Officer turned around, followed vehicle and subsequently arrested driver for DWI. P.O. William Greer, Jr. April 8 - Criminal Mischief - Clinton Road Unknown actors threw a cup of coffee on front window and door of residence at above location. P.O. Gregory Post, Jr. April 9 - House Fire - Bearfort Road Officer was dispatched to 124 Bearfort Road for a report of a house fire. Upon arrival officer observed flames coming from the right rear side of home. West Milford Fire Companies arrived and battled the fire. First Aid Members responded. No injuries reported. P.O. Tyrus Hicks April 9 - DWI - Ringwood Lane/Union Valley Road Kerri Szwed, West Milford, Age 29 While on patrol officer observed the above traveling south on Union Valley Road with its drivers side front headlight out. Officer stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as the above. While speaking with the accused officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. Driver was arrested for DWI. P.O. Gary Yarnall April 9 - Criminal Mischief - Sweetman Lane Officer responded to the above location on report of criminal mischief. Victim showed officer that a brick column holding a mailbox was smashed and strewn around the roadway. P.O. James McDaniel April 9 - Criminal Mischief - Bubbling Springs Officer observed damage to the Bubbling springs ball field. It appears a vehicle drove onto the field and spun around several times, ripping up the grass and infield. P.O.
