In conjunction with “Read Across America,” Westbrook students celebrated Dr. Seuss Day last week. The children donned their “Cat in the Hat” hats and participated in reading and language activities throughout the day. And, as a gift from the Westbrook students, the school’s PTA once again donated funds to purchase Dr. Seuss books which were given to babies born at Chilton Hospital on March 2, Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Shown here are Westbrook kindergarteners, Anthony Hopler, Allison Vogt and Victoria Music enjoying Dr. Seuss Day.
