Jebbie is a loving 11-year-old male Persian cat. He was released to the West Milford Animal Shelter because his owner passed away. He has adjusted to the change but there are times when he seems to be pining for his former home and family. He has been patiently waiting for a new home for many months, but most of the people who have come to the shelter to adopt have chosen younger cats with shorter fur. Caring for long-haired cats does take a bit more time, but Jebbie loves to be brushed. Persians also need to have their eyes wiped. All of this takes less than 10 minutes a day. Jebbie is light gray and white with the traditional flat face and nose of his breed. He is quiet and gentle but has a playful side too. Come to the shelter and meet him in person. 973-728-2859.
