west milford-The West Milford P.A.L. 2004 winter basketball registration period is now open. Registration forms may be obtained and dropped off at the West Milford PAL weekdays between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The registration fee structure is as follows: $40 for the Bitty-ball program (birthdays between Jan. 1, 1998 and Dec. 31, 1999); $65 for all children in grades one (seven years old by Dec. 31, 2004) through eight; $65 for Girls grades nine through 12 $85 for Boys grades nine through 12. Families registering more than two children, pay the two highest fees, then $25 per additional child. Practices starts in mid-October, with the season going thru early February. All first time first-grade or Bitty players must provide proof of age, in the form of a birth certificate photocopy with a registration. Registrations close on Sept. 18.
