WMHS senior wins Rutgers award

    WEST MILFORD-Kathryn Barry of West Milford Township High School has been chosen as a recipient of a University Merit Award at Rutgers University. The scholarship acknowledges the academic achievements of outstanding high school seniors admitted to Rutgers for the fall 2005 term. Founded in 1766, Rutgers is the eighth oldest institution of higher learning in the U.S. Offering more than 100 undergraduate majors, Rutgers has the distinction of being one of only 62 members of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU). AAU member institutions are widely recognized for the quality and scope of their research and educational programs, and are at the forefront of global scholarship and research.
