WEST MILFORD The Greenwood Lake Pilots Association, in conjunction with the EAA, hosted a Young Eagles day last Saturday. Children between the ages of 7 and 17 were invited to take a free ride in a small aircraft. Pilots that donated their planes and time were Brian Adkins, Arthur VanRiper, Jim Felton, Mike Kerstetter, George Hayes and Michael Zelt-Levic. On display was a model of Thomas Dayon’s plane. Dayon was a West Milford resident who died in his aircraft earlier this year. The model was built by Tony Romanish in memory of his friend.
