To the Editor: I’d like to see the public re-elect Greg Bailey and Drew Murray to the West Milford Board of Education Greg has served the township well by saving thousands of dollars as chairperson of the budget committee. In addition, Greg was instrumental in working with the community and the board to insure that each school had a defibrillator to protect our students and staff in case of an emergency. Greg has been a great asset to the educational system and its sports programs. Drew Murray has used his talents and experience as a lawyer in an expert manner to help the board understand many of the complex legal issues often saved the taxpayers money by offering his counsel on areas of litigation. Recently he provided a detailed proposal for the town council and the board to settle the Wallisch estate issues in a manner that is beneficial to both parties. Please consider voting on April 18th for both of these candidates. We need their experience and unique backgrounds to keep the school system moving forward in these lean budget years.
