To the Editor: I will be supporting what I have dubbed “The Keep Team” (keeping experienced educated people) for the school board. Greg Bailey understands the hours of devotion needed to be a good board member. He has served well as a budget and finance chairperson and his expertise in construction have saved this district thousands. Bailey’s input regarding field lights and repair have yielded wonderful results. As chairman, he worked closely with the business administrator to get defibrillators in each school. Greg Bailey serves the children and taxpayers of this community with their best interests in mind. Drew Murray has given tireless hours to the board of education, and has helped save district money. As a lawyer he has helped the board deal with the Wallisch property and the Hillcrest School, spending countless nights and weekends dealing with these sometimes controversial issues. He also sits on numerous committees. I also support Michael Pych. It is clear to me that, if elected, this young man will be off and running. It is evident he has the best interest of the children and the township in his mind and heart. Having grown up in West Milford, Pych understands the needs of this community and district and is interested in quality education. He is an honest man who will be a team player. On April 18 please vote for the “Keep Team,” Greg Bailey and Drew Murray and add a devoted newcomer, Michael Pych. Midge Touw, President WM Board of Education
