The Wetdown Committee of the Upper Greenwood Lake Volunteer Fire Company 5 would like to offer our sincerest thanks to everyone who helped make our rededication and wetdown such a success, including our sponsors who so generously contributed and helped to underwrite the cost of the wetdown and our vendors who offered a variety of tasty choices, especially Applebees who sent a crew up to cook burgers and hot dogs on a hot day. The volunteers who helped sell raffles, serve beer and empty the garbage cans all contributed to having the wetdown run so smoothly. Mayor Bieri, Father Michael and Rev. Edwards who participated in the rededication of our firehouse along with the West Milford Highlanders Pipe and Drum Corp helped to make this a memorable occasion.
We also appreciate the many hours put in by Company 3 and the Fire Police, who made sure everyone made it safely in and out of the wetdown and allowed the numerous fire trucks to safely travel down Warwick Turnpike and participate in our wetdown.
Our Upper Greenwood Lake Ladies Auxiliary did a tremendous job selling mugs and shirts and helping us clean up afterwards. You were instrumental in the success of the wetdown and we appreciate all that you did.
Our wetdown would not have been such a success if it weren't for all the generous people who came to lend us a hand. Company 5 would like to thank everyone who was involved and attended the rededication and wetdown.
