Don't get fooled again West Milford. During the June primary this year, council candidates Michelle Dale and Lou Signorino stated in their flyers that “for far too long a small group of political insiders in the West Milford Republican Party have tried to force the town into one political machine. They have fostered a tradition of bitterness in politics and a refusal to work with anyone who doesn`t come under their control.” What they don't say is that the group - GOP Strong run locally by Carmen Scangarello - was behind it and we all know what happened to our MUA under his control. It was mismanaged and awarded contracts to Birdsall Engineering who we all know violated pay to play laws by making secret donations to politicians including our local Republican party and candidates. Michelle Dale took a $650 donation from Carmen's PAC Friends Of West Milford, according to her election filings, and Lou Signorino's Facebook page says he likes GOP Strong of Hawthorne, which is GOP Strong now matter how you slice it.
They call themselves “Principled Republicans” and I just want to know where their principles are and where their loyalties lie.
