Random drug testing of only children involved in extracurricular activities or those who drive is discriminatory. If such testing is to be implemented, the entire student body should be included. Those who are involved in activities balance school work and said activities which in turn dramatically decreases their free time. Lack of free time decreases negative influences and the time to become involved in delinquent behaviors. If the supposition is to protect and prevent our children from problems, shouldn't we protect all the children within the student body?
