Eagle Scout wants to rebuild stations of the cross

My name is Thomas Carroll and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 146 of Upper Greenwood Lake, West Milford currently working on my Eagle Scout project.

I have chosen to undertake the rebuilding of the 14 outdoor Stations of the Cross at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. The Stations are located in the back of the parking lot of the church, next to the convent. This is a necessary and incredibly important project for the church and community of West Milford. The walk of the Stations of the Cross is meant to be a spiritual and peaceful retreat for the people of a parish. My wish is to return that to the people of my parish and anyone else wishing to find comfort in our church. My plan for this is to completely rebuild each station, with a sturdy stone base and a roof overhead to protect them from the weather. Brand new station plaques will be put on, as well as other beautification aspects made to the walk.

To do this I must raise $2,000 on my own to fund all necessary costs involved with the project. This is why I am reaching out to the community in hope that people could possibly consider donating to this cause and assisting me in reaching my monetary goal soon so I can commence work.

Please make checks out to Thomas Carroll and mail them to 94 Long Pond Road, Hewitt, NJ 07421. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your time and consideration and thank you in advance for your generosity.
