The Friends of Wallisch Homestead would like to thank the Community for coming out to help open the trails on July 19.
The trails have been cleared from behind the Stone Barn (which will become the Exhibition Hall) to a foot bridge where the trail splits and greats a loop. You will see several frames which held educational signs that have become bleached by the sun. New graphics are being provided by Ramapo College and should be ready soon.
Please come out and enjoy a stroll.
The Friends of Wallisch Homestead meets at Hillcrest Community Center the first Thursday of each month (8 p.m.). We are a non profit volunteer group dedicated to the preservation of the site or recreation and open space as well as the adaptive reuse of the buildings for educational and community events.
