On behalf of the West Milford National Day of Prayer Task Force, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the many men and women who helped make our May 4 events both safe and special, including the many members of our local police force.
Truly, it was a sincere blessing to pray alongside so many members of our township, including our mayor, council people, first-responders, military, church and business leaders as well as individuals in the field of education.
Indeed, West Milford is a dedicated community, which on our National Day of Prayer mightily stepped up to support our township as well as our state and nation at large.
In a day when there is so much conflict, it is a blessing to know we can come together with caring people who live among us.
It is my sincere hope more events like these that encourage community will follow.
With this in mind, please know we encourage you to attend our regular community prayer gatherings the second Friday of each month at the Almond Branch Church beginning at 7 p.m. as we pray for our town and any individual needs you may have.
May God bless the United States of America and our township of West Milford.
Sherri Parlotto
Chairwoman, West Milford National Day of Prayer Task Force
