I had the pleasure of meeting our mayor Michele Dale and got a chance to discuss with her my concerns for our town.
The typical subjects that affect all of us, taxes, infrastructure, school system, economic development etc.
I must admit that as a typical New Jersey taxpayer, paying some of the highest property taxes in the country only to suffer driving to work with the added fun of avoiding New Jersey’s pothole fiesta, I have always been skeptical of our political representatives and how sincere and effective they truly are at looking out for our interests.
After talking to Michele, I was pleasantly surprised.
Besides the history lesson I received about West Milford (I moved here almost five years ago from Kinnelon), I got a real sense that every decision she makes is geared towards making things better for all of us in West Milford.
She was extremely knowledgeable on all the issues and I found out that there are a lot of opportunities for all of us to get involved.
So thank you Mayor Dale, you have my support, and I know going forward you are the leadership that out town needs.
