Thanks to McGuinness, Signorino, Wagner for zero budget increase

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Republican Councilmen Pete McGuinness, Lou Signorino, and Tim Wagner on leading the charge to attain a zero tax increase municipal budget for 2017.
At the Wednesday, May 17 West Milford Town Council meeting, Pete, Lou, and Tim’s diligent work finally came to fruition. Numerous solutions they had proposed over the past few months were incorporated to realize their goal of providing much needed tax relief for West Milford’s residents.
Their collective efforts created the fiscally conservative plan for managing the Township’s finances moving forward. Their demands for efficiency, accountability, and responsibility in spending have led us to this point, something that has not been done since 2011.
I am also proud of Republican Council Candidates Steve Castronova and Tricia Gerst for taking an active role in attending and speaking up during the numerous budget meetings that have taken place over the past few months. Their engagement with the budget process and advocacy for a zero increase budget with no loss of services proves that they will join the effort led by Pete, Lou, and Tim, if elected to serve West Milford.
Thank you to Councilmen McGuinness, Signorino, and Wagner for their dedicated and tireless efforts to generate this monumental accomplishment. Thanks as well to Republican candidates Castronova and Gerst for their outspoken support of this mission while supporting our children in West Milford.
I ask all West Milford Republicans to support their quest to provide tax relief in June 6 primary election by voting for Steve Castronova and Tricia Gerst on Row A. We cannot afford not to support these true conservatives who have advocated for this fiscal responsibility in our community.
