Township administrator should get a raise

    To the Editor:
I just saw an email from the West Milford Messenger that the Township Council will be discussing (Township Administrator Antoinette) Battaglia's "terms of employment."
I hope it's to extend her contract and give her a raise.
In all my dealings with her on a variety of issues roads, JCPL, brine, budget ideas, etc. Ms.Battaglia has acted in a professional, pro
    active manner.
She always responds in a timely manner, and always has the best interests of West Milford and its citizens in her daily actions
    and decisions.
She has an depth knowledge of West Milford's strengths and issues that confront it, because of her varied roles and time in our
town. She also is not afraid to manage our many varied departments and personalities that make up the towns workforce.
We have had many town managers in the 40 years I have lived in town, most come and go in a rather short period of time, moving on in
    their careers.
Antionette has invested time and energy in West Milford and most importantly she cares about it and its citizens.
So I humbly suggest that the mayor and council do whatever is in their power to show her that we appreciate the job she is doing.
    Thank you.
    Pat Restaino,
    West Milford
