The West Milford Education Foundation (WMEF) will be celebrating our 11th annual "A Taste of the Highlands"� banquet fundraiser event on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Casa Bianca, 5266 Berkshire Valley Road in Oak Ridge, starting at 6 p.m. This dinner will showcase dishes from our local restaurants, delicatessens, and other eateries. The cost per ticket is $45 and includes all-you-can-eat buffet, soda, water, coffee and tea, with a cash bar available.
We will be holding a tricky tray of donated prizes, live auction of student artwork, woodworking projects along with prizes donated by local businesses and a 50/50 raffle. Raffle tickets will be available leading up to and during the event. The evening's entertainment will feature performances from our high school band, jazz band and chorus.
WMEF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide funds to help enhance our public schools through teacher grants. This allows our staff to be able to enhance the programs and/or equipment that they have received either through state or federal grants or from the school budgets.
