To the editor: On behalf of the players and parents of the West Milford Girl’s 12U Gold Softball Team, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who supported the Twilight Benefit on June 17. A very special thank you to Steve Castronova and The Valley View Pub for your efforts in making this event such a success. Thank you to Phil Weisbecker for your expertise in community partnerships. As you may know, the team has qualified to play in the National Softball World Series in Roanoke, Virginia this July. This week-long event consists of the top 100 National Softball Association teams in the nation, vying for the National Championship. This is a very special honor and a wonderful opportunity for our young players; an experience they will never forget. We thank you for your support and good wishes.
