Unprepared for positive reaction from public

    To the Editor: I just wanted to send a note of thanks for the wonderful article about me last week and the wonderful show of support of the community. The article had such an overwhelming effect that the staff and I were, unfortunately, not prepared for the sharp increase of business. I wanted to say thank you to all the families who showed up to welcome me to the community and I truly apologize for not being able to serve you as you deserved. To all those who came and waited for service, thank you. Thank you for the thoughts and the kind words. To all those who came and got frustrated with the delays in receiving your orders I am very sorry and hope you will consider giving the Crosswinds Café another chance. It is our goal to maintain a high standard of freshness in our food; to that end most of our dishes are prepared on the spot. This type of preparation also slowed us down a little.
