To the editor: I am an undeclared voter and have no political ax to grind. All I have to say is that when my neighbors and I were in need of assistance, Joe Smolinski came through in a big way. We were having a problem with water run off on our road when it rains long and hard. Flooding became a serious problem. After numerous phone calls to the road department, I was given Joe Smolinski’s number. Not only did Joe answer my telephone call, but he came to my house in person to witness the problems we were having. The very next day the road department was grating and leveling off my road. This is a Man of Action not words!!! I urge my fellow citizens to vote for Joe Smolinski for West Milford Council. I make this endorsement without the slightest bit of doubt. Joe Smolinski deserves our vote and his actions speak for themselves. Steve Mann Hewitt
