Local children gathered March 28 at Highlands Community Church for an Easter egg hunt that featured crafts, an egg-carry relay race, and the search for 1,300 hidden eggs.
Three children discovered golden-ticket eggs, which they exchanged for plush animals, while all 1,300 eggs were found in 15 minutes. An additional 500 Easter eggs were donated to local food pantries to support families in need.
