West Milford dog walk to celebrate shelter’s 50th anniversary

A dog walk benefiting the West Milford Animal Shelter will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19 at the West Milford Community Services/Recreation Building on PAL Drive. The event will celebrate the shelter’s 50th anniversary and feature prizes, games and an annual costume contest. Dogs are welcome, but retractable leashes are not permitted. Those without dogs are also encouraged to attend and support the shelter. The rain date is Sept. 26.
