The Highlander Rugby team is pleased to announce that three of their players, including one from West Milford, have been recognized for honors by Rugby NJ.

Tight-head prop Jacob Brennan and Flanker Will Reich both made the NJ All Star U16 team, and played with that side against teams from New York, Pennsylvania, and Colorado.

Will Reich is a rising junior at West Milford High School, where he also wrestles.

Highlander Captain Colm Davidson was selected to the D2 NJ All State team as starting Fly Half.

"I'm very proud of the boys, they put in a lot of hard work this year and I'm glad to see them recognized," said Coach Ryan Copping. "It's a great foundation on which to build for next year's season."

Highlander Rugby is rugby team for high-school boys that competes in the 2nd Division of Rugby NJ.

They are based in West Milford, but accept players from both NY and NJ, and play Spring 15s and Summer 7s.
