Anthony Bucco honors West Milford police accreditation
West Milford. State Sen. Anthony Bucco congratulated the West Milford Police Department on its accreditation as officials also swore in a new officer and announced nominations for the township’s Volunteer of the Year award.

Senator Anthony Bucco recognized and congratulated the West Milford Police Department on Feb. 11 on their accreditation obtained late last year at the Township Council meeting.
Bucco said “the community should really be proud of the fact that they have a top notch police department.”
Micheal Nowagie, joined by family, was sworn in by Mayor Michelle.
Volunteer of the Year Award will be held on April 29. Residents of West Milford Township can nominate anyone who lives or works in the town and has volunteered within the community.
The nomination deadline is Friday, March 20, at 1 p.m.
